Get to know the Triune Team

Everyone’s journey back to health varies and is unique.

We love what we do, and feel privileged to be in a position where people put their trust and faith in Osteopathy

We as a team help our clients to move forward.

Andy and Bhakti have over 25 years of training and experience as Osteopaths.

We treat a really wide range of patients – from newborn to the elderly.

Read more about us below or get in touch with any questions.

We're dedicated to helping you reach optimal health.

Committed to personal and professional development, we regularly continue learning, training and up-skilling. We are committed to the growth of Osteopathy in NZ and Andy has been heavily involved as an executive board member of Osteopaths NZ, and co-convener of an international pain conference in Auckland.

In these modern times, where you lose sight of what is important and can be caught up in the busy-ness of life and money, it can take us away from our health and those we love.

If we don’t have our health, we can’t do all of the things that make us happy and achieve our goals. So the journey back to optimal health is as relevant now as it ever has been.

Every patient is treated as an individual - with their own unique history. We adapt the treatment to the individual patient, and if necessary, schedule longer appointments.

Everyone is different, and that’s what makes our “job” so exciting and rewarding.

The Triune Osteopath Practice in Herne Bay, Auckland

At our clinic we try to promote a sense of calmness and tranquility, which we feel is reflected in the environment of our premises.

We hope every patient, whether it is their first time or they have been coming to us for ten years, finds coming to us a nurturing experience and that they have plenty of time to discuss their problems with us.

About the Triune team, in just a few words ...

Andy Gibson Ostepath.jpg

Andy Gibson

Andy is the principal osteopath at Triune Osteopaths and Clinical Director of Triune Health Centre. Andy trained and graduated with Honours from the British School Of Osteopathy, the oldest school of Osteopathy in Europe - and he’s completed extensive post graduate studies around the world and continues to extend his knowledge base.  Andy served as Treasurer of Osteopaths New Zealand for four and a half years and was the co-convener of the international conference on pain held in Auckland in 2017.

Andy is passionate about health, osteopathy and the wider impact it can have on helping the community. He has a special interest and passion for cranial osteopathy. He sees health as our greatest asset and sees babies as being born with the perfect blueprint for health - it’s outside influences like stress or trauma that can impact our health.

Andy has two kids, is a keen yoga student and loves to go on walks with his family around the local Auckland bush and beaches.

Bhakti Osteopath.jpg

An Osteopath for 6 years, Bhakti loves using both Osteopathy and functional exercise to help patients manage pain. Her days are full of variety and no patient, condition, treatment, day, or conversation is the same. She uses all three modes of Osteopathy - structural, visceral and cranial - depending on the body type and condition of the patient. Her treatments can be subtle or have dynamic movement, depending on the need.

She loves travelling and anything adventurous and plans a different destination every year.

She enjoys exploring the world on water with her kayak, as well as hiking and the rejuvenation that nature provides. A vegetarian foodie and Zumba instructor, she likes to stay healthy through diet and get active with functional movement. She goes to the gym every morning and practices Hatha yoga and meditation to try and stay zen.

Bhakti wishes to see all people return to their true nature in this world: love.

Debbie Osteo Receptionist.jpg

Practice Manager

Debbie will be the person at the other end of the phone when you ring.

She does her best to make sure your experience with us is an enjoyable one.

Debbie has been with Triune Osteopaths for more than ten years now and has really enjoyed getting to know our patients over time.

One of the things she likes most about coming to work is the people she works with. Not only the warm, nurturing team at Triune Osteopaths, but all our wonderful patients.

She enjoys chatting about anything from the unpredictable nature of weather in Auckland, to current affairs - and of course travel!

She is a traveller at heart and France is a particular passion.
